Role :- Oracle Finance Functional Consultant
Key Details:
Location: Hyderabad (Work From Office)
Experience: 7-8 Years
Responsibilities :
Gather and analyze business requirements: Conduct thorough needs assessments, gap analysis, and workshops to understand client business processes and identify appropriate Oracle Finance solutions.
Design, configure, and test Oracle Finance modules :
- Implement and configure core Oracle Finance modules, including General Ledger (GL), Accounts Receivable (AR), Accounts Payable (AP), Cash Management, Fixed Assets, and Projects.
- Ensure accurate data flow and system functionality.
- Perform thorough testing of configurations to identify and resolve any issues.
- Develop and deliver training sessions: Educate end-users on Oracle Finance functionalities, best practices, and system usage.
- Provide ongoing support and troubleshooting assistance:
- Resolve complex system issues and provide timely support to clients.
- Monitor system performance and identify areas for improvement.
- Assist with data migration and integration projects:
- Ensure seamless data flow between Oracle Finance and other systems (e.g , ERP, CRM, HCM).
- Develop and execute data migration plans.
Prepare and deliver project documentation :
- Create and maintain system design documents, training materials, and user guides.
- Document all project activities and client interactions.
- Stay current on the latest Oracle Finance releases, features, and best practices:
- Attend training sessions and industry events to stay informed about product updates and industry trends.
- Proactively identify and recommend process improvements:
- Analyze client processes and identify opportunities to enhance efficiency and productivity through the effective use of Oracle Finance.
- Build and maintain strong client relationships: Act as a trusted advisor, building rapport and maintaining open communication with clients.
Qualifications :
- 7-8 years of hands-on experience in implementing and supporting Oracle Finance modules (GL, AR, AP, Cash Management, Fixed Assets, Projects).
- Strong understanding of accounting principles and financial processes.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively communicate technical information to both technical and non-technical audiences.
- Proven project management skills, including the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines.
- Strong customer service orientation with a focus on client satisfaction.
- Experience with data analysis and reporting tools.
Bonus Points :
- Oracle Certifications (Oracle Certified Implementation Specialist - Oracle E-Business Suite R12)
- Experience with Oracle Cloud applications (Oracle Cloud ERP)
- Experience with integrations with other Oracle modules (SCM, HCM)
- Experience with scripting languages (SQL, PL/SQL)
- Experience with Agile development methodologies
