to drive growth and enhance our market presence in the southern states of India (Karnataka, Kerala, Tamil Nadu, Andhra Pradesh, Telangana).


Job Summary:

The Business Development Officer will be responsible for developing and executing strategies to increase sales and market share of our Off Highway and Agri tyre products. This role requires a results-oriented professional with a deep understanding of the tyre industry, excellent communication skills, and a passion for building strong customer relationships.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Market Research: Conduct in-depth market analysis to identify trends, customer needs, and competitive dynamics within the Off Highway and Agri tyre markets.
  • Strategy Development: Develop and implement a comprehensive business development strategy to achieve sales targets and expand our footprint in target markets.
  • Client Relationship Management: Build and nurture strong relationships with existing dealers while actively pursuing new business opportunities.
  • Sales Presentations: Prepare and deliver compelling presentations and proposals to prospective dealers, showcasing the benefits of our tyre solutions.
  • Networking: Attend industry events, trade shows, and conferences to represent the company and cultivate a network of industry contacts.
  • Performance Tracking: Monitor sales performance metrics and provide insights and recommendations to senior management for ongoing improvement.
  • Negotiation: Negotiate contracts and agreements to secure profitable sales and foster long-term partnerships.
  • Customer Feedback: Gather and analyze customer feedback to inform product development and improve service offerings.

Requirements:

  • Bachelors degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field.
  • 1- 4 years of experience in business development, sales, or marketing, particularly in the OHT/Agri tyres.
  • Strong knowledge of Off Highway and Agri tyre products and market dynamics.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Willingness to travel as needed for client meetings and industry events.
