Role & responsibilities

• Design and build advanced applications for the iOS platform.
• Identify and fix bugs and performance bottlenecks.
• Work with outside data sources and APIs.
• Ensure the performance, quality, and responsiveness of applications.
• Integrate third-party libraries and APIs using tools like CocoaPods or Carthage.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features.
• Stay up-to-date with new trends and best practices in iOS development.
• Participate in code reviews to ensure code quality and maintainability.
• Troubleshoot and debug applications.
• Continuously discover, evaluate, and implement new technologies to maximize development efficiency.

Preferred candidate profile

• Bachelors/Masters degree in computer science, information technology, or engineering
• At least 5-10+ years of experience in iOS app development
• Strong knowledge of Objective-C, Swift, and Cocoa Touch
• Vast experience with multiple iOS frameworks
• Experience in continuous integration
• Knowledge of iOS back-end services
• Proficiency in code versioning tools
• Knowledge of Agile/Scrum methodologies
• Good understanding of iOS design principles and application interface guidelines
• Experience with ARKit or Core ML for AR or machine learning-based applications
• Understanding of App Performance Optimization and tools like Instruments
