Data Engineer - Python/SQL (3-5 yrs)

About the Role :

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Consultant with 3 to 4 years of experience in data management and analysis. This role will be part of our Supply Chain and Manufacturing team, collaborating closely with cross-functional teams and clients to ensure data integrity, optimize data quality, and support Master Data Management (MDM) initiatives.

The ideal candidate will have expertise in SQL, Python, ETL development, and cloud technologies such as AWS, Snowflake, and Databricks.

Key Responsibilities :

- Collaborate with internal teams and client teams to develop and implement high-quality technology solutions addressing critical business challenges.

- Develop a deep understanding of business problems and translate them into effective technical designs.

- Lead specific modules and workstreams within projects while actively participating in hands-on implementation.

- Work closely with technical architects to validate the technical design and implementation approach.

- Apply best practices and methodologies to ensure a seamless client and project team experience.

- Support the project lead in project delivery, including project planning, people management, staffing, and risk mitigation.

- Manage a diverse team with various skill sets, providing mentorship and coaching to junior members.

- Plan and distribute tasks among team members to ensure timely completion of high-quality deliverables.

Guide the development of project deliverables such as :

- Business case development

- Solution vision and design

- User requirements

- Prototypes

- Technical architecture

- Test cases

- Deployment plans

- Operations strategy

- Performance optimization strategies

- Data validation and quality checks

- Documentation of technical workflows and processes

- Implementation of security and compliance measures

- Continuous monitoring and support of deployed solutions

- Client training and support during project transitions

- Integration of AI/ML models for enhanced data analytics

- Optimization of cloud infrastructure for cost efficiency

Required Qualifications & Skills :

- 3+ years of relevant professional experience delivering small to medium-scale technology solutions.

- Proven ability to lead project teams, manage end-to-end project activities, and provide mentorship to junior team members.

- Strong understanding of Relational Database Management Systems (RDBMS), SQL, data warehousing, and reporting.

- Hands-on experience with big data concepts, data management, and cloud platforms.

- Proficiency in Python for data analysis, automation, and scripting.

- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, including expertise in algorithms and data structures.

Preferred Skills (Good to Have) :

- Experience with ETL development and data pipeline optimization.

- Hands-on experience with cloud platforms like AWS, Snowflake, and Databricks.

- Familiarity with supply chain and manufacturing business processes.

- Experience working in a consulting environment or on client-facing projects.
