Job Description
- Spearhead Technology is seeking a highly skilled and hands-on AI/ML Data Scientist to support the development, testing, and deployment of predictive models for a range of business applications.
- This role requires close collaboration with our solutions architect, application engineers, and product teams to create AI/ML solutions for industries including finance, cryptocurrency, and securities pricing.
- The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in developing models for predicting cryptocurrency, stocks, bonds, and other financial securities prices.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop, test, and deploy predictive models using advanced AI/ML techniques.
- Collaborate with the solutions architect, application engineers, and product teams to integrate AI/ML models into business applications.
- Design and implement models for cryptocurrency, stocks, bonds, and other financial securities pricing predictions.
- Utilize regression, time-series, classification, and NLP algorithms to create robust predictive models.
- Ensure models are scalable and deployable in cloud environments such as AWS or Azure.
- Perform data preprocessing, feature engineering, and model validation to ensure the accuracy and reliability of predictions.
- Conduct A/B testing, hypothesis validation, and user testing to refine models.
- Utilize big data environments like Hadoop and Spark for large-scale data processing.
- Stay updated on the latest trends and advancements in AI/ML and Generative AI to continuously improve model performance and applicability.
Required Skills and Experience:
- Bachelordegree in computer science, mathematics, statistics, data science, AI, ML, or a related technical field.
- 5+ years of hands-on experience in developing predictive models using regression, time-series, classification, and NLP algorithms and techniques.
- Proficiency in Python and Python-based machine learning libraries (eg, TensorFlow, Keras, Scikit-Learn).
- Strong coding skills in SQL and experience with cloud-based applications and HTTP-based APIs.
- Demonstrated experience in developing and deploying predictive models in AWS and/or Azure environments.
- Experience with databases and data warehousing solutions offered by AWS and/or Azure.
- Familiarity with A/B testing, hypothesis validation, user testing, and analytics software.
- Knowledge of big data technologies such as Hadoop and Spark, with coding experience in PySpark.
- Understanding of Generative AI concepts, use cases, and applications.
- Strong analytical skills and a hypothesis-driven approach to problem-solving.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Masteror Ph.D. in a relevant technical field.
- Experience with financial data, especially in the domain of cryptocurrency and securities pricing.
- Certifications in AWS, Azure, or other relevant technologies.
- Experience with additional programming languages and tools relevant to AI/ML.
