Area Sales Manager

Job description

The incumbent will be responsible for sales and marketing of healthcare & medical devices manufactured by us in the allotted territory. The prime requirement is to establish primary sales by appointing super stockist / distributors in major towns apart from the headquarter followed by building a sales team to promote and build the secondary sales in retail and other segments. The candidate should have sound knowledge of the operating territory. He/she will be reporting directly to the Marketing Head of the company.

Responsibilities and Duties

• Marketing & Business Development in allocated areas.
• Close liaison with Marketing Head for effective implementation.
• Appoint Distributors/ Dealers in major towns and cities independently.
• Overview, policy, planning and implementation of marketing programs.
• Local promotion and marketing activities in keeping with the general mission of the company
• Setting & Achieving the Sales targets with regular visits & tours.
• Excellent communication skills & time management skills
• Analytical thinking, good organizing skill
• Ability to create and maintain business networks/relationships
• Team working experienc

Preferred candidate profile

The candidate should be ideally 35- 40 years age with minimum experience in sales for 8-10 years. The incumbent should have complete knowledge of the area of operations, computer literate and should possess own vehicle. He should be agreeable for outstation visit on monthly basis. He should be capable to build his own team over a period of time. The person should have knowledge about MS Word, Excel, google sheet, sharing live location etc.
