Overview :

We are seeking an experienced Senior/Lead Full Stack Web Developer with a strong focus on Next.js and React to contribute to the development and maintenance of our modern, high-performance website.

You will play a key role in the full development lifecycle, from design and implementation to deployment and maintenance.

This role requires a deep understanding of front-end and back-end development, experience with cloud platforms (specifically GCP), and the ability to seamlessly integrate with CMS platforms like Strapi.

You will also be responsible for overseeing deployments and managing our cloud infrastructure on GCP.

Key Responsibilities :

Development :

- Develop and maintain high-performance, scalable web applications using Next.js, React, and Node.js.

- Build reusable React components and implement efficient state management solutions.

- Integrate front-end applications with back-end APIs and databases.

- Implement server-side rendering (SSR) and static site generation (SSG) using Next.js.

- Write clean, well-documented, and testable code.

- Conduct thorough testing and debugging to ensure high quality.

- Stay up-to-date with the latest trends and technologies in web development.

Cloud Infrastructure (GCP) :

- Oversee the deployment and management of applications on Google Cloud Platform (GCP).

- Configure and maintain GCP services such as Compute Engine, Cloud Storage, and Cloud SQL.

- Implement and manage CI/CD pipelines for automated deployments.

- Monitor application performance and troubleshoot infrastructure issues.

- Ensure security best practices are followed for cloud deployments.

CMS Integration (Strapi) :

- Integrate Strapi CMS for content management and API creation.

- Develop custom Strapi plugins and extensions as needed.

- Work with content editors to ensure seamless content delivery.

- Optimize Strapi performance for optimal website speed.

Collaboration & Communication :

- Collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams, including designers, product managers, and other developers.

- Participate in code reviews and provide constructive feedback.

- Communicate technical concepts clearly and concisely.

- Contribute to team knowledge sharing and best practices.

Leadership (For Lead Role) :

- Mentor and guide junior developers.

- Take ownership of project deliverables and timelines.

- Contribute to technical architecture discussions and decisions.

- Lead and participate in sprint planning and execution.

Required Skills and Experience :

- 5+ years of professional web development experience.

- Strong proficiency in JavaScript (ES6+), React, and Node.js.

- Extensive experience with Next.js framework, including SSR and SSG.

- Solid understanding of front-end development principles and best practices.

- Experience with RESTful APIs and asynchronous programming.

- Proficiency with Git version control.

- Experience with Google Cloud Platform (GCP) for deployment and infrastructure management.

- Experience integrating with Content Management Systems (CMS), particularly Strapi.

- Excellent problem-solving and debugging skills.

- Strong communication and collaboration skills.

Preferred Skills and Experience :

- Experience with testing frameworks (e.g, Jest, Cypress).

- Knowledge of other cloud platforms (e.g, AWS, Azure).

- Experience with containerization technologies (e.g, Docker, Kubernetes).

- Familiarity with Agile development methodologies.
