SourceFuse Technologies - Data Analyst - Python/SQL (5-7 yrs)

Looking for a highly skilled and motivated professional Data Analyst with 5+ years of experience to lead operational analytics.

You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify business objectives, define project goals, and ensure the successful execution of data science projects.

Additionally, you will provide guidance and mentorship to the data science team, ensuring the continuous growth and improvement of their skills.

Roles & Responsibilities :

- Lead and manage a team of data scientists, providing guidance, mentorship, and support in their day-to-day activities.

- Collaborate with stakeholders to understand business objectives and define project goals for data science initiatives.

- Design and implement data science strategies and solutions to address complex business problems.

- Oversee the development and implementation of predictive models, algorithms, and statistical analysis techniques.

- Stay up-to-date with the latest advancements and trends in data science and incorporate them into the team's practices.

- Communicate and present findings, insights, and recommendations to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

- Collaborate with other teams, such as engineering and product management, to ensure successful integration and deployment of data science solutions.

- Foster a culture of innovation, collaboration, and continuous learning within the data science team.

- Hands on experience in building business analytics dash boards, regression analysis.

- Drive AI / ML using vision analytics programs.

Skills & Abilities :

- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Data Science, Computer Science, Statistics, or a related field.

- Proven experience in a data science role, with at least 2 years of experience in managing a team of data scientists.

- Strong proficiency in AWS Glue jobs, AWS QuickSight, Python Scripting, SQL, Big Data Analytics, Warehousing, Machine Learning and Computer Vision.

- Expertise in statistical modeling, machine learning algorithms, and data visualization techniques.

- Solid understanding of data manipulation, feature engineering, and data preprocessing techniques.

- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to translate business requirements into data science solutions.

- Strong communication and presentation skills, with the ability to effectively convey complex findings to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

- Experience working in Agile or Scrum methodologies is preferred.

- Proven ability to lead and mentor a team, fostering a collaborative and high-performance environment.
