Information Security Specialist

The Information Security Specialist will lead the efforts to secure the Amdocs ecosystem by guiding and monitoring the different IT/ Product/ Business teams to ensure organizational security, by designing a secure architecture of software products/ conducting risk and threat analysis/ analyzing and managing a secure solution in the domain of infrastructure/ application while responding to specific stakeholders questions.

Roles and responsibilities
System Administration:
o Manage Windows Servers including updates, patches, and basic troubleshooting.
o Oversee Linux environments, performing essential administrative tasks
Privileged Access Management (PAM):
o Support and maintain PAM solutions (e.g., CyberArk) to ensure secure handling of privileged credentials.
o Onboard and offboard privileged accounts
o Collaborate with Other teams to uphold best practices and compliance standards.
Information Security Support:
o Assist in implementing and enforcing security protocols such as password policies, secure configurations, and access controls.
API and Integration Tasks:
o Utilize APIs to connect different systems and automate routine tasks where possible.
o Work with REST, manage JSON or XML data formats, and troubleshoot API-related issues.
Scripting and Automation:
o Participate in creating and refining scripts that interact with PAM systems to streamline account management and auditing.
Technical Documentation:
o Produce clear and concise documentation for processes, configurations, and troubleshooting steps.
o Maintain up-to-date knowledge base articles for both technical teams and end-users.
Collaboration and Communication:
o Work closely with cross-functional teams including Network Engineering, Security, and system.
o Provide regular updates to management and stakeholders on project progress and identified risks.
Time Management and Project Execution:
o Prioritize and manage workload effectively, meeting structured deadlines in project scope.
Additional Beneficial Responsibilities (if applicable):
o Contribute to cloud environment tasks (Azure or AWS), including basic resource provisioning and management.

Skills required:
1. Basic Knowledge of Operating Systems
Familiarity with Windows operating systems (Servers and Workstations) to perform basic tasks like system updates, configuration, and troubleshooting.
2. Linux Fundamentals
Understanding of Linux environments, including basic command-line operations. Comfortable navigating and executing standard commands.
3. Awareness of Privileged Access Management (PAM) Systems
Familiarity with Privileged Access Management concepts, especially CyberArk. Experience with CyberArk Privilege Cloud or on-premises deployment
4. Interest in Information Security
A strong interest in information security practices and general understanding of basic security protocols, such as password policies and secure access principles.
5. Analytical and Technical Writing Skills
Ability to analyze technical issues and document findings clearly. Comfortable writing basic technical instructions or process notes.
6. Foundational Scripting Skills in PowerShell
Basic experience with PowerShell or other scripting languages.
7. Understanding of API Basics
Basic knowledge of APIs and how they connect applications. Familiarity with using API endpoints and understanding data formats like JSON is beneficial.
8. Ability to Work Under Structured Deadlines
Ability to manage time effectively, working under defined timelines and adapting to workload as needed.
9. Good Communication Skills
Able to communicate clearly with team members and non-technical colleagues. Willing to collaborate and share information in a supportive way.
10. Additional Beneficial Skills
o General understanding of cloud technology principles, especially in Azure or AWS environments.
o Familiarity with basic networking concepts like IP addresses and firewall basics.
