Automation Test Engineer

Software Test Team Lead carries management responsibilities for a group of testing engineers; responsible for segments of the planning, design, and execution of tests and is expected to provide professional and technical leadership for the group, raise risks, suggest mitigations and make decisions.

• Implement, maintain and improve test automation scripts for Native App (IOS, Android)

• Improve our automation coverage by working closely with Products, UX and Developers on testing features and automating our test cases and scenarios.
• Maintain and run automation scripts for new functionality and regression testing.
• Assist in ongoing process improvement efforts to ensure test planning, execution, and reporting methods are effective, efficient, standardized, coordinated, and integrated.
• Assist in designing test strategies, developing test tools and implementing test cases to ensure the highest quality deliverable.
• Defect tracking and issue status reporting.
• Able to multi-task, triage issues, react well to changes, work independently in a fast-paced environment.
• Must be self-motivated and know when to seek guidance; detail-orientation is a must.

• Must have at least 3 years of experience in developing, executing, and maintaining automated scripts on Native Apps (Android IOS) for continuous quality assurance in mobile application using Appium and Java.
• Strong knowledge in Java and Java scripting.
• Knowledge on git, Jenkin, CI/CD technologies.
• Knowledge on defect management tool - Jira, TFS.
• Know standard manual and automation test processes.
• Perform root cause analysis to identify root causes to issues and come up with preventive measures.
• Perform thorough regression testing when bugs are resolved.
• Develop, estimate, prioritize and coordinate test plans, test cases, test scripts and test reports.
• Experience in creating framework for mobile automation testing and web automation.
• BS in Computer Science or related engineering field preferred. Strong relevant work experience in QA will be considered as well.

Preferred:

• Experience in create and Manage Jenkins jobs and pipelines
• Strong knowledge of Mobile app frameworks (iOS, Android) Test management tools: Jira, TFS, ALM
• Expertise in Automation Tools Appium, Selenium, node.js, Shel Scripting, curl commands and DevOps
• 4+ years of QE Experience leading transformation projects
• At least three (2) years of experience working directly with clients and customers with mobile app testing frameworks and providing recommendations to improve performance.
• Familiar with DTM
