Adopt and comply with the Extreme Design System (EDS) and experience guidelines (taxonomy, content, a11y, etc).
Produce user journey maps (workflow diagrams), annotated wireframes that map xAPI and content strategy, mockups, prototypes, and dev-ready design documentation using EDS patterns and standards. Engage in design sprint planning, retrospectives, and demo ceremonies to organize, prioritize, and deliver design artifacts.
The Contribution:
Work closely with Design leadership at Extreme and other stakeholders to achieve effective design outcomes.
Facilitate communication across a balanced product team and stakeholders.
Follow design practices and processes to support Jobs-to-be-done and Persona(s).
Participate in design reviews and other workshops with other team members to guide product design decisions through iterative feedback to ensure the production of high-quality design artifacts across the team of designers.
Requirements:
Proficiency with Figma, Jira, Confluence, Miro, FigJam, and Teams.
Experience working within a product team, including collaborating with designers, content strategists, researchers, UI Engineers, and product management.
4+ years experience as a UX Designer or Digital Product Designer, creating and/or improving transactional SaaS/IaaS/PaaS or complex software products.
Formal degree or training in HCI, Product Design, Interaction Design, Visual Design, or related fields or equivalent job experience
