Job Description
Responsible for Production support, bug fixing and deliver assigned tasks as per predefined timelines and quality standards.
Must have working knowledge on:
- COBOL, JCL, Job spool, File and Abend handling
- Monitor and support the batch
- Work on the resolution of assigned batch tickets
- Analysis and reporting of possible batch incidents
- Handle ad-hoc requests for Service status or one-time information retrieval/reports
- Participate in implementation activities
- Ability to multi-tasking and proactive learning
- Should be willing to work in 24 7 rotational Europe/India shift.
Good to have skills:
- Awareness of planner applications or job schedulers like control-M
- Awareness of mainframe abends
- Awareness of DB2 database
- Awareness of Incident/Problem management tools (Jira, Service now, Confluence or any other tool etc.)
Total Experience Expected: 04-06 years
B.E./ B.Tech./BCA
