Department: MFG

Designation: Engineer (MFG)

Reports To: Manager - MFG

Qualification: BE/DIPLOMA - Mech/Electrical

Experience: 2 - 7 years of relevant experience

Location: MM Nagar

Key Accountabilities / Responsibilities:

• To Handle, deploy and Train Operators in the production line
• To Drive Operators for the First-time right concept.
• To Monitor and meet KRA targets - PQCDS
• To Initiate and Implement process improvements through Poke Yoke, QCT/SMED
• To Prepare MIS reports for management review
• To Drive SGA, Kaizen, and suggestion among Operators
• To Maintain 3C, 5S & JIT in line.
• Having good Knowledge in PFMEA, CP,5W1H & 8D
• Having good communication in English.
• Able to work in Rotating Shifts
• Having knowledge in IATF-16949, ISO 14001 & OHSAS

Person/Competency Specification

Knowledge:

Essential:

1. Drawing reading

2. Drafting through CAD is preferable

3. Assembly shop and cutting tool exposure.

4. Motor Manufacturing industry exposure

Desirable:

1. Knowledge on pneumatics, hydraulics and generation of tooling drawings.

2. GD & T.

3. Electrical knowledge

4. Starter Motor knowledge
