Senior Java Developer

Role & responsibilities

• Develop and enhance Java-based applications with a focus on performance, scalability, and quality using Core Java,JSF and Spring Framework.
• Design, build, and optimize MySQL databases, ensuring data integrity, security, and query efficiency.
• Develop and maintain RESTful APIs to support application functionalities, ensuring seamless front-end and back-end integration.
• Collaborate with front-end developers, QA, and other stakeholders in an Agile environment, including participating in sprint planning, daily stand-ups, and code reviews.
• Write clean, modular, and well-documented code that adheres to industry best practices.
• Perform unit testing and work closely with QA teams on integration testing and system testing.
• Analyze and debug complex issues, proposing and implementing solutions for quick resolution.
• Contribute to the continuous improvement of development processes and adoption of new technologies.

Preferred candidate profile

• 3-6 years of professional experience in Java,JSF (Java 8+ preferred) with a solid understanding of Core Java fundamentals.
• Proficiency with Spring Framework (e.g., Spring Boot, Spring MVC, Spring Data) and Hibernate ORM.
• Strong expertise in MySQL: experience with database design, complex queries, and optimization for performance and reliability.
• Advanced knowledge of RESTful API development and integration.
• Thorough understanding of Object-Oriented Programming (OOP), Design Patterns, and best practices.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with attention to detail.
• Experience with version control systems (Git) and collaborative code management.
• Solid experience with unit testing frameworks (e.g., JUnit) and test-driven development (TDD).
