Mobile Application Lead

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Mobile App Developer Lead to oversee the development of cutting-edge mobile applications across multiple platforms, including Android, iOS, and Windows. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in both React Native and native app development, with a deep understanding of mobile security and authentication protocols. This role involves leading a team of developers, collaborating with cross-functional teams, and ensuring the delivery of high-quality, secure mobile applications.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead Mobile Development Efforts: Oversee the end-to-end development of mobile applications across Android, iOS, and Windows platforms using both React Native and native technologies.
• Technical Leadership: Provide technical guidance and mentorship to the mobile development team, ensuring best practices in coding, architecture, and security are followed.
• Security and Authentication: Implement and manage robust security measures, including authentication protocols (OAuth, JWT, biometrics), encryption, and secure data storage to protect user data and ensure app integrity.
• Cross-Platform Development: Develop and maintain cross-platform mobile applications using React Native, while also leveraging native development skills when necessary to optimize performance and user experience.
• Integration: Collaborate with backend teams to integrate APIs and other services, ensuring seamless functionality and performance.
• Continuous Improvement: Stay up-to-date with the latest industry trends, tools and technologies. Continuously evaluate and recommend improvements to development processes, tools, and technologies.
• Team Collaboration: Work closely with UI/UX designers to ensure the mobile applications are user-friendly and align with the overall design guidelines.
• Documentation: Maintain comprehensive documentation of the codebase, development processes, and security protocols to ensure knowledge sharing and future scalability.

Required Qualifications:

• Proven experience as a Mobile App Developer Lead or in a similar role, with a strong portfolio of successful mobile applications.
• Expertise in React Native and proficiency in native development for Android (Java/Kotlin), iOS (Swift/Objective-C), and Windows (C#).
• In-depth knowledge of mobile app security, including authentication methods, encryption, and secure data storage.
• Experience with OAuth, JWT, and biometric authentication.
• Strong understanding of RESTful APIs and mobile backend integration.
• Familiarity with mobile app development tools and technologies (e.g., Xcode, Android Studio, Visual Studio).
• Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot and optimize mobile applications.
• Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to effectively manage and motivate a development team.
• Experience with version control systems (e.g., Git) and collaborative development workflows.
