The Impact You ll Make in this Role
Seasoned Application Maintenance Manager with over 10 years managing global support operations and projects across SAP S/4 HANA, SAP Datasphere, SAP HANA, and integration tools like HVR and Fivetran. Proven ability to lead multi-vendor teams, ensure SLA adherence, drive continuous improvement, and align IT support with business goals. Adept at stakeholder management, platform modernization, and service excellence delivery.

Ensure seamless 24x7 application availability and performance across SAP and integrated platforms.
Own the Incident Management, Problem Management, and Change Management processes following ITIL practices.
Monitor and manage SLAs, KPIs, and OLAs; ensure service commitments are consistently met or exceeded.
Manage batch jobs, data loads, and system health checks proactively across HANA, S/4 HANA, Datasphere, and connected environments.
Lead resolution and root cause analysis for complex issues in:
SAP HANA (performance, replication, upgrades)
SAP S/4HANA (OTC, Finance, PTP, MDM domains)
SAP Datasphere (data pipelines, harmonization, business semantics)
HVR / Fivetran (real-time/near real-time data replication)
Oversee integrations between SAP and other platforms using ETL/ELT tools and APIs.
Ensure security, compliance, and data governance practices across the application landscape.
Act as the primary point of contact for business stakeholders, IT teams, and external vendors. Drive regular governance meetings, status reporting, and proactive issue/risk communication.
Translate business pain points into technical solutions and coordinate with the delivery team for execution.
Lead enhancements, rollouts, upgrades, and transition projects from legacy to modern platforms (e.g., from ECC to S/4HANA, from BW to Datasphere).
Build project charters, timelines, resource plans, and risk mitigation strategies.
Ensure seamless handover of project deliverables into steady-state AMS with proper KT, documentation, and SLA baselining.
Manage teams balancing workloads and ensuring timely issue resolution.
Mentor and guide L2/L3 support resources, enabling cross-skilling and performance improvement.
Collaborate with third-party vendors for specialized support (e.g., HVR or SAP Product Support).
Identify opportunities for AI/ML integration for anomaly detection, usage pattern analysis, or predictive maintenance.
Maintain updated documentation including system configurations, runbooks, SOPs, RCA reports, and security audit trails.
Ensure SOX, GDPR, HIPAA, or any regulatory frameworks applicable to the industry are adhered to in the system landscape.
Your Skills and Expertise To set you up for success in this role from day one, 3MHealth requires (at a minimum) the following qualifications:
Bachelor s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology, or a related quantitative field or higher degree.
OR
High School Diploma/GED from AND 8 years of Information systems / Analytics application Consulting experience
AND
In addition to the above requirements, the following are also required:
10 years managing global support operations
3 to 5 years of Team leadership in an operational management or leadership role within a data-focused team.
4 years of data analytics, data engineering, business intelligence, or related field experience
Strong proficiency in SQL for data querying and manipulation.
Hands-on experience with BI and data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI).
Solid understanding of data warehousing concepts (e.g., dimensional modeling) and platforms (e.g., Snowflake, Azure Synapse).
Experience with ETL/ELT processes and tools (e.g., Informatica, Fivetran).
Familiarity with cloud computing platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP).
Proven ability to troubleshoot complex technical issues and perform root cause analysis.
Excellent understanding of data quality principles and data governance frameworks.
Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills with the ability to collaborate effectively with technical and non-technical stakeholders around the world.
Process-oriented mindset with a focus on efficiency, scalability, and reliability.
Project management and Agile methodologies skills.
Additional qualifications that could help you succeed even further in this role include:
2 years with ML/AI, advanced analytics, or data science software
