Solutions Architect

Roles and Responsibilities

• Develop scalable, secure, and resilient technology solution architectures for initiatives, that meets business requirements, support operational needs, and are aligned to the enterprise Architecture and business strategy.
• Define current and target state. Ensure architectural solutions adhere to scalability, security, performance, and compliance standards. Lead the adoption of cloud-based, API-first, and event-driven architectures to enhance agility and flexibility.
• Option Analysis - Identify and evaluate solution options, develop option papers, and drive decision making. Ensures that the solution balances functional, service quality and systems management requirements.
• Work collaboratively with:
• Business analysts in planning the approach and help developing non-functional requirements for initiatives.
• Program and Project managers to ensure timely delivery of conceptual design, HLSD, support Business case development
• Plan and execute delivery of Conceptual designs and or HLSDs for Technical Service Review Boards (TSRBs)
• During the execution of a program or project be the Design Authority for Solution design need to guide Developers, Testers, and other stakeholders on Technical solution design
• Select appropriate design standards, methods and tools, consistent with agreed solution architectures and ensures they are applied effectively.
• Identify and document current integration architecture and develop target state integration architecture in alignment with program architecture, guard rails and re-using integration patterns
• Define best practices for API management, middleware integration (experience with Boomi is highly desirable), and messaging frameworks (Experience with Azure Service Bus is highly desirable, Kafka, etc.).
• Ensure real-time data synchronization and process orchestration across HR, Finance, and IT ecosystems.
• Identify process automation opportunities within HR, Payroll, and workforce management to enhance efficiency and reduce manual efforts.
• Work with Automation COE in help designing and Implement RPA (Robotic Process Automation), AI-driven decision-making, and low-code/no-code workflow automation solutions.
• Work with DevOps and IT teams to automate infrastructure, deployments, and application monitoring.
• Define and implement CI/CD pipelines and Infrastructure as Code (IaC) solutions to accelerate digital transformation.

Skills Required

• A minimum of 10+ years software development experience
• At least 5 years as a Solution Architect and designing and implementing technology solutions that support business transformation and operational efficiency.
• Strong foundation of knowledge around Azure cloud services (IaaS, PaaS, and SaaS)
• Proven experience in developing option papers, and drive decision-making.
• Experience with Dayforce HCM (Strongly desired)
• Foundational to advanced background in Data Architecture (Strongly desired) Background in Developing ETL workflows, data lakes, and real-time data processing pipelines for HR analytics and reporting (strongly desired)
• Experience in developing integration architectures and enterprise systems integrations such as ERP (Microsoft Dynamics), CRM, customer facing applications etc.
• Experience on architecting solutions for transformational projects and successful transitions to implementation support teams.
• Familiarity with automation frameworks, RPA (Microsoft power automate, Boomi Flow would be advantageous and AI/ML-driven automation and Intellignet automation is a plus
• Strong knowledge of integration patterns and the ability to evaluate and choose the appropriate pattern.
• Agile and Waterfall development methodologies.
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills leveraging all available resources.
• Experience with Boomi
• Experience with ETL and EAI
• Proficiency in cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) and modern architectural frameworks (TOGAF, Zachman, microservices, event-driven architectures). Expertise in API design (REST, GraphQL), middleware platforms (Boomi),
• Experience with Power Automate, Boomi Flow and automation frameworks RPA, Digital Business process automation
• Strong understanding of DevOps practices, CI/CD tools (Jenkins, GitHub Actions, ArgoCD), and Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, Ansible, CloudFormation).
• The following skills and experience would be advantageous: Azure Cloud, Experience in HR domain, Boomi
• Licences/Accreditations/ Memberships: Azure Solution Architect / Boomi Architecture (Nice to have) / ToGAF (Nice to have) /Experience in using Tools like Ardoc, MS DevOps (nice to have)
