Job Title: Senior Oracle DBA

Timings: Rotational shift.

Job Summary: The Oracle DBA will be responsible for the implementation, configuration, maintenance, and performance of critical DB servers, to ensure the availability and consistent performance of the applications. This is a hands-on position requiring solid technical skills as well as excellent interpersonal and communication skills. The person should have experience in leading the team.

Role and Responsibilities:

• 10+ Years experience in database administration, operations, and production support
• Excellent knowledge in resolving performance tuning issues.
• Experience in Monitoring, back up/ Recovery Management, DB Provisioning/de-provisioning, DB refresh/restore, HA/DRE, Data Guard, Patching, migration, replication, and upgrades.
• Understanding of Incident Management, Problem Management and Change Management
• Experience in tools such as Service Now, JIRA, Confluence
• Ability to document solutions and train operational teams
• Experience with Amazon Web Services or Azure
• Experience with automation, Ansible, Python
• Experience in Oracle Enterprise Manager (OEM) Cloud Control, SQL Server, Postgres is a plus.
• Excellent written and verbal communication

• Ability to organize and plan work independently.
• Ability to work in a rapidly changing environment.
• Ability to multi-task and context-switch effectively between different activities and teams
• Experience in financial domain is a major plus
• Experience in handling the team, people management skills.
