Sr. Software Engineer, D&T, Sitecore

Job Summary:

The Sr. Software Engineer, Digital and Transformation, Site Core requires in-depth knowledge and experience to work autonomously and oversee and participate in the architectural design, development, and enhancement of applications.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Possesses solid understanding of the overall vision, business needs and the solution architecture for overall Web Platform solutions
Designs, develops and implements new applications, enhancements, and implements new features to our web-based customer facing solution
Writes high-quality and sustainable code for web-based product development
Works to build business knowledge and to transform this knowledge and business requirements into technical specifications
Estimates technical requirements and breaks down work to user stories and tasks
Plans, develops, tests, deploys and monitors of Web Platform solutions in a DevOps model
Collaborates with Leads and Architects on various prototypes, or proof of concept, to test solution
May coach, support and train other developers and engineers
Other duties as assigned

Basic Qualification and Experience:
Bachelor s degree in Engineering or equivalent experience
Minimum 5-8 years of experience

Preferred Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
Solid experience and in-depth knowledge of:
o Developing and Managing Web Platforms using Site Core CMS, .NET using C#, LINQ, and REST APIs
o Experiences with Site Core Experiences Platforms, Commerce Engines, using TDS for Site Core and developing solutions using ASP.NET MVC
o Strong programming and development experiences using .NET Framework and ASP.NET MVC, C#
o Sound knowledge with scripting languages such JavaScript, CSS, HTML, XML etc,
o Familiar and development expertise s with following technologies : HTML5, ASP.NET, C#, MVC, WCF, WebAPI, RESTful Services, OAuth, SQL Server, Stored Procedures, TFS, Azure, Visual Studio, Entity Framework, JavaScript, TypeScript, Ajax, SVG, XAML, CSS 3.0, Razor, Dependency Injection, UI frameworks/libraries Understanding of REST, JSON, XML, SOAP, jQuery, jQuery, Backbone JS, Twitter Bootstrap, pre-processing platforms, such as LESS and SASS
o Experiences with Azure PaaS (such App Services, Azure Storage, Application Insights, Azure Key Vaults, Azure Search etc.)
o Experiences in troubleshooting solution from Azure Logs
o Familiar with Unit Testing and Code coverages
o Understanding of full stack applications and ability to address the front-end and back-end
o Excellent knowledge of relational databases, design database model, optimizing Store procedure etc.
o Experience developing interactive web applications using at least one popular web framework
o Understanding of asynchronous request handling, partial page updates and AJAX.
o Continuous Integration (CI) and Continuous Delivery (CD) / DevOps for Web Platforms development and Deployment
o Automation Testing for Web Framework
o Using Various code repositories like Git, TFS, etc
o Developing in an Agile methodology with Visual Studio Team Services (VSTS)
Strong understanding and knowledge of the following:
o Overall web development stacks, Site core CMS Stacks and road maps
o Utilized current and upcoming industry trends and practices to developed Sitecore CMS based web platform.
o Proficient in Web Development Tools
o Experiences in streamlining Sitecore solution deployment using DevOps
Familiar with SAP API and CRM Integration is a plus
Preferred:
o Overall 5+ years of experiences in Web development (Minimum 2 years with Site Core)
o Sitecore certified is a plus
o Experience developing web applications with Sitecore 8.x and 9.0
Ability to work in a global and virtual environment and to effectively prioritize and execute tasks in a high-pressure environment.
Able to be aware of all relevant SOPs as per Company policy as they are related to the position covered by this Job Description
Able to comply with the company s safety and Quality policy at all times

Physical and Travel Requirements
15% travel, including global travel
Work Timing -12:0pm to 9:00pm
Occasional on-call work required
