Job Summary: We are looking for a dynamic and experienced Software Engineering Manager to lead a team of data engineers supporting our service desk and field service operations. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in software engineering, cloud technologies, and agile methodologies. This role requires a hands-on leader who can drive innovation and ensure the successful delivery of data-driven solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

- Lead and manage a team of data engineers, providing mentorship and guidance.

- Oversee the design, development, and maintenance of data pipelines and infrastructure.

- Ensure data quality, integrity, and security across all data systems.

- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand data requirements and deliver solutions.

- Implement best practices for data management, including SQL, Data Bricks, NoSQL databases, and reporting tools.

- Utilize PowerBI and cloud platforms (Azure, GCP, AWS) to develop and deploy data solutions.

- Drive continuous improvement in data engineering processes and methodologies.

- Stay updated with industry trends and emerging technologies in data engineering.

Qualifications:

- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.

- At least 10 years of industry experience in data engineering or related fields.

- Minimum of 5 years of managerial experience leading data engineering teams.

- Proficiency in SQL, Data Bricks, NoSQL databases, and reporting tools.

- Experience with PowerBI and cloud platforms (Azure, GCP, AWS).

- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

- Excellent communication and leadership abilities.

- Architecting enterprise scale cloud applications

- Agile development experience

- Relevant certifications are highly appreciated.

Preferred Qualifications:

- Experience with big data technologies and frameworks.

- Knowledge of data governance and compliance standards.

- Proven track record of delivering complex data projects on time and within budget.
