The Software Engineer, AI Platform will implement services for building and operating the centralized AI platform for AI/ML development across Thomson Reuters business operations.
The Software Engineer, AI Platform is expected to be familiar with AI tooling and software engineering solutions required to streamline AI workflows and applications to enable AI/ML workflow development, testing, and deployment.
About the Role
Participate in the build and maintenance of software that tracks the entire lifecycle of ML from ideation to post-deployment monitoring
Build features that help data scientists iterate and re-train models quickly and easily.
Build features that help non-ML experts investigate and use LLMs (Large Language Models) and prompt engineering.
Utilize various open-source and commercial software and tools for services aligned to data acquisition, model development, and model governance.
Enable self-service tooling for data science teams to create and maintain models.
Continuously challenge and evolve the existing platform capabilities and keep up to date with new offerings.
About You
Two+ years of experience in Software Engineering with a good grasp of Machine Learning, Data Science, and MLOps
Hands-on experience working with public cloud technology (one of AWS, Azure, GCP).
Experience with cloud AI capabilities (e.g., AWS Sagemaker and Azure Cognitive Services).
Experience with Python programming language, including modern capabilities and the Python ML ecosystem (Numpy, Pandas, SKlearn, Tensorflow, PyTorch).
Experience with relational and/or non-relational databases.
Experience with Agile development and delivery - Scrum, Lean, XP, Kanban methodologies.
