Job Description

We are looking for a seasoned and motivated Senior Team Lead - Quality Analyst with expertise in automation testing to join our dynamic team. As a key member of our Quality Assurance team, you will lead and guide the testing efforts, ensuring the delivery of high-quality software solutions. Responsibilities:

Lead and mentor a team of quality analysts, providing guidance on testing best practices and automation strategies.
Develop, implement, and maintain automated test scripts for web and mobile applications
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand project requirements and ensure effective test coverage
Design and execute manual and automated test cases to identify software defects and ensure functionality meets specifications
Oversee the planning, execution, and reporting of test activities throughout the software development lifecycle
Continuously improve and optimize test processes, tools, and frameworks to enhance efficiency and effectiveness
Conduct root cause analysis of issues and collaborate with development teams to facilitate timely resolution.
Participate in Agile/Scrum processes, including sprint planning, daily stand-ups, and retrospective meetings
Stay abreast of industry trends and advancements in testing methodologies and tools
Requirements

Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field

5-8+ years of experience in quality assurance, with a focus on automation testing

Proven experience leading and mentoring QA teams.

Strong proficiency in test automation tools and frameworks (e.g., Selenium, Appium, JUnit, TestNG)

Solid understanding of software testing principles, methodologies, and best practices

Experience with continuous integration and continuous testing practices

Knowledge of API testing and familiarity with tools like Postman or REST Assured

Proficiency in programming/scripting languages such as Java, Python, or JavaScript

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

Excellent communication and collaboration skills

Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and prioritise effectively
Preferred Skills:

ISTQB or similar certification

Experience with performance testing tools (e.g., JMeter, LoadRunner)

Familiarity with DevOps practices and tools

Previous experience in an Agile/Scrum environment
