Software Engineer - Performance/API Testing (3-5 yrs)

Requirements :

- Solid knowledge of QA/Test methodologies, test documentation and practices.

- Strong knowledge and hands on experience in feature and end-to-end testing.

- Strong test documentation and bugs creation skill set.

- Practical experience with Agile methodology.

- Strong working knowledge in SQL Server database.

- Practical experience in execution and creation of automation test scripts using Selenium.

- Strong experience in mobile test verifications.

- Hands on experience in API/services level testing.

- Excellent analysis and decision making skills.

- Excellent organizational skills.

- Ability to prioritize test activities and testing tasks.

- Ability to work independently on complex issues and lead large size projects/releases.

- Experience working with globally distributed teams.

- At least 2 yr experience in Java.

- Experience in Performance testing(e.g. Jmeter) is a plus.

- 3+ years software QA/Software Verification experience.

- Automation test experience is required.

- BSCS, BSEE degree or equivalent required.

Responsibilities :

- Design, develop, and execute comprehensive test plans and test cases for software features and functionality.

- Develop and maintain automated test scripts using Selenium and other relevant tools.

- Perform thorough functional, regression, and end-to-end testing of software applications.

- Conduct API/services level testing to ensure data integrity and system performance.

- Perform mobile test verifications across various devices and operating systems.

- Participate in Agile development sprints, attending daily stand-up meetings and collaborating closely with developers and product owners.

- Create and maintain detailed test documentation, including test plans, test cases, and bug reports.

- Analyze test results, identify and isolate defects, and track them to resolution.

- Work closely with development teams to troubleshoot and resolve issues.

- Contribute to the continuous improvement of our testing processes and methodologies.

- Stay abreast of the latest testing tools, technologies, and industry best practices.

- Collaborate effectively with globally distributed teams. Lead and mentor junior QA engineers.
