Software Engineer (Nifi Flows)

A talented and experienced NiFi Developer with a strong focus on Integration projects.
The primary responsibility will be to design, develop, and maintain NiFi flows to support our Integration product.
Qualification: Bachelors degree in computer science or related field or higher, with minimum 2.5 - 5 years of relevant experience.

You will design, develop, modify, debug and/or maintain software code according to functional, non-functional and technical design specifications.
You will follow Amdocs software engineering standards, applicable software development methodology and release processes, to ensure code is maintainable, scalable, and supportable, and demo the software products to stakeholders.
You will investigate issues by reviewing/debugging code, provide fixes and workarounds, and review changes for operability to maintain existing software solutions.
You will work within a team, collaborate and add value through participation in peer code reviews, provide comments and suggestions, and work with cross functional teams to achieve goals.
You will assume technical accountability for your specific work products within an application and provide technical support during solution design for new requirements.
You will be encouraged to actively look for innovation, continuous improvement, and efficiency in all assigned tasks.

candidate should be able to : -
Design, develop, and implement NiFi Flows to extract, transform, and load data from various sources.
Collaborate with the team to gather requirements and translate business needs into technical specifications.
Optimize processes for performance and scalability.
Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to data processing and ETL pipelines.
Adhere to established coding standards and adopt to Agile software development methodology and contributing in all phases of the development lifecycle.
Execution of end-to-end implementation of underlying data ingestion workflow.

Must have -
Proficiency in Apache NiFi.
Deep knowledge of various NiFi Processors.
Good knowledge of NiFi registry and implementing a flow Registry for storing and managing versioned flows.
Experience with parameter context, controller services, access policies, NiFi API, processor groups, NiFi expression language.
Experience with JSON and REST.
Experience with Jolt Transformation, JSON Schema Validations.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

Nice to have -
Experience in languages such as Python, Groovy, Unix Shell scripting.
Experience in creating custom NiFi processors.
Familiarity with AWS services like S3, SNS, SQS, Cognito etc.
Experience in SQL.
Familiarity with Hashicorp-Vault.
