Software Engineer III

Position Summary... The International Technology organization works with Walmart International which includes more than 5,900 retail units, operating outside the United States with 55 banners in 26 countries such as Africa, Argentina, Canada, Central America, Chile, China, India, Japan, Mexico and United Kingdom. We work on technologies that intersect a wide variety of business models for grocery, general merchandise, and the warehouse format. As a part of the Intl Merch team within the International Technology organization, you will be a part of a team that works across the entire customer lifecycle building features and capabilities that take the overall shopping experience at Walmart multiple notches higher.

What You ll do

• Reporting to the Engineering Manager and collaborating with other engineers in the team.
• Working as part of Cost Analytics team based out of IDC Bangalore.
• Working closely with project stakeholders across multiple markets.
• Identifying areas of improvement in terms of code quality, developing new features and maintaining existing production solutions.
• Provide solutions that are simple and effective aid in overall team efficiency.
• Be the perfect team player in complimenting, supporting the team goals.

What youll bring

• Bachelors Degree or Master s Degree with 3+ yrs. of experience in Computer Science or related field.
• Working experience on cloud enabled platforms like GCP, Azure etc.
• Full stack - Java backend 70% and UI 30%.
• Strong hands-on experience in Java, Springboot, Hibernate, Elastic search & Kafka,

• Strong hands-on experience in UI skills like React/redux, CSS, SCSS, Javascript and/or typescript.
• Good to have knowledge on BigQuery.
• Working with distributed teams across different geographies is desirable.

• Good to have retail domain experience.
• Good to have experience on CI/CD deployment process like Jenkins/K8.
