Job Description

We are seeking skilled Back-End Software Development Engineers to join our growing team. In this role, you will design, build, and maintain the foundational systems and services that power GoDaddy s global platform. Your work will be critical to ensuring performance, scalability, and reliability for millions of customers worldwide.

Design, develop, and optimize back-end services, APIs, and systems that power GoDaddy s applications.
Work with distributed systems and microservices to create scalable, secure, and high-performance solutions.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including product managers, front-end engineers, and data teams, to deliver end-to-end solutions.
Write clean, maintainable, and testable code, adhering to best practices in software development.
Debug, troubleshoot, and resolve issues in a timely manner to ensure system reliability and uptime.
Contribute to architecture and design discussions, influencing the technical direction of our platforms.

Your experience should include...

Proven experience in back-end development, building and maintaining complex systems and APIs.
Proficiency in languages such as Java, Python, and Node.js.
Experience designing and implementing RESTful APIs.
Familiarity with SQL and NoSQL databases (e.g., PostgreSQL, MySQL, MongoDB, Cassandra).
Experience with cloud platforms like AWS.
Understanding of scalability, performance tuning, and caching strategies.
Experience with event-driven architectures and messaging systems (e.g., Kafka, RabbitMQ).
Familiarity with DevOps practices, CI/CD pipelines, and infrastructure as code.
Knowledge of security best practices, including authentication and authorization mechanisms
