As a Software Engineer in Test, you will play a key role in developing and implementing automated testing frameworks that enhance the quality and reliability of our products. In this role, you will :

Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure comprehensive test coverage and seamless integration with backend and frontend systems.

Develop and implement automated test cases, ensuring our software products are scalable, secure, and meet the highest quality standards.

RESPONSIBILITIES :

- Design and build automated test frameworks and test suites for use in development and testing cycles.

- Initiate test case and Code reviews to ensure the quality of Test Cases, Test coverage and Automation Code.

- Collaborating with development teams and your team peers to identify and prioritize opportunities for automation.

- Own up Manual and Automation tasks for the team when and where necessary.

- Work closely with the test team to identify new automation opportunities.

- Contribute to managing test environments.

- Communicate test progress, test results, and other relevant information.

- Increase Automation confidence by reducing random test failures.

- Work closely with the development team and ensure that the code is delivered with high code coverage.

- Understand our products from both a technical and business perspective in the context of our larger business.

- Communicate testing strategies and results to stakeholders.

REPORTING LINE :

- You will be reporting to the Manager I, Development Operations.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS :

- Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science / Information Science or MCA.

- Minimum of 1.5 years of experience as Software Engineer in Test.

- Test automation frameworks and tools-building experience.

- Experience in programmatically testing the product, measuring test coverage, developing the best automation, drive testability and diagnostic ability into the product, while promoting best practices in quality areas.

- Experience programming with at least one modern language such as Typescript or Javascript.

- Good knowledge of Software Testing concepts and methodology.

- Good knowledge of Object Oriented Programming concepts and Design Patterns.

- Hands-on Knowledge of Test Automation approaches, Frameworks, and Tools.

- Hands-on experience in UI, API, Cross Browser Testing Tools.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATION :

- Understanding of testing principles and methodologies.

- Experience with test automation frameworks and tools.

- Strong analytical and troubleshooting abilities.

- Experience with API testing clients (e.g., Postman).

- Solid understanding of manual testing techniques.

- Familiarity with at least one cloud platform (AWS, GCP, etc.).

- Knowledge of versioning tools like Git.

- Familiarity with performance, load, and security testing.

- Ability to convey technical information effectively to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
