Senior Manager, Automation Development, Software Development

• Lead a high-performance team responsible for delivering efficient, strategic automated solutions by reducing manual effort and improving customer experience.
• Responsible for Automating product deployment, configuration, operation, and maintenance using Infrastructure as Code and Configuration Management tooling.
• Troubleshooting of critical bugs and issues as required including escalated technical queries from support team.
• Liaise with infrastructure engineers and application developers on a variety of automation workflows.
• Define the strategy for Automation development teams @ HCCI in close collaboration with Global stakeholders and grow the team in numbers and responsibility.
• Regular interaction with Global Stakeholders to effectively manage their expectations.
• Deep Technical experience in infrastructure build and deployment, including private and public cloud along with Automation technologies.
• Create functional design specifications, Azure reference architectures, design documents and assist with other project deliverables as needed.
• Assist other team members with application architecture and configuration issues or questions.
• Attend regular project, team and customer meetings where required.
• Participate in R&D efforts to improve methods, toolsets and processes used by the automation team.
• Produce documentation outlining the application configuration methods.
• Support and troubleshoot code throughout its lifecycle from Development to Production.
• Deliver scalable, reliable applications faster to meet the ever-changing demands of customers.
• Acquires specific expertise in automation design and development approaches and best practices.
• Engages with cross-functional teams to develop solutions that meet customer needs.

The Senior Manager is responsible for the Cloud SAAS Automation deliverables from Hyderabad centre and should steer and grow the team to achieve stretched product deliverables from India. The role will require strong people and stakeholder management skills as well as working closely with the team in India to achieve the goals and objectives of smart plant cloud in India. Staying updated on the latest technologies is an essential requirement.

• Masters or bachelors degree in engineering or technology, from a reputed institute, with excellent academic records (Computer Sc./ Information Technology).
• Cloud Multi tenant certifications, like Terraform, AKS, EKS etc.
• Experience: 10 to 14 Years

Skills Required

• Experience in Define, architect, and implement CI/CD pipelines for enterprise-grade applications using Azure DevOps Services.
• Work Experience with configuration management and automation technologies such as Puppet or Ansible.
• Comprehensive Terraform Experience to provision resources within multiple Azure Subscriptions with multitenant experience.
• Expert in Cloud Azure Kubernetes Services with container-based, Helm & YAML deployment skills.
• Technical expertise in AKS/EKS builds and deployments, including Azure cloud along with Automation technologies.
• Ability to create and deploy scripts such as: PowerShell, Bash, Ruby & Python
• Knowledge of authentication protocols such as SAML, OAuth 2.0
• Knowledge of Okta, Ping federates or any Identity.
• Experience working with Azure technologies such as virtual machines, blob, queues, tables, cloud services, web apps, functions apps, Azure Active Directory, virtual networks etc.
• Strong communication skills including presentations & confident in leading client meetings.
• Good Knowledge in functional design specifications, Azure reference architectures, design documents and assist with other project deliverables.
• Provide visionary leadership and strategic direction for the Cloud team.
• Build, mentor, and lead a high-performing team of cloud professionals.
• Stay abreast of the latest cloud technologies and best practices, particularly within the cloud Ecosystem, and provide technical guidance to the team and stakeholders.
• Ability to guide the team members in achieving their goals.
