About the Role :

We are looking for a highly skilled ITX Developer to join our integration team. As an ITX Developer, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining integration solutions using IBM Integration Toolkit (ITX) and related technologies. You will play a critical role in delivering high-performance integration solutions to meet business needs and enhance system interoperability.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in integration development, particularly in IBM Integration Bus (IIB), IBM Transformation Extender (ITX), or similar integration platforms. You will work closely with cross-functional teams including Business Analysts, Solution Architects, and other developers to build robust and scalable solutions.

Key Responsibilities :

Integration Development :

- Design, develop, test, and implement integration solutions using IBM Transformation Extender (ITX), IBM Integration Bus (IIB), or other relevant integration technologies.

- Develop and implement transformation maps to map data from various formats such as EDI, XML, CSV, JSON, and proprietary formats.

- Ensure effective data integration between heterogeneous systems (on-premise, cloud-based, third-party, and legacy systems).

- Collaborate with teams to define integration requirements, develop technical specifications, and contribute to architecture discussions.

- Implement complex business logic and transformation rules as per integration requirements.

Customization and Maintenance :

- Develop custom adapters, functions, and reusable components in ITX to meet specific business and technical requirements.

- Modify and enhance existing integration solutions to meet new business requirements and optimize performance.

- Troubleshoot and resolve issues in existing integration flows and applications in production environments.

- Regularly conduct system tests and quality checks to ensure the integrity and performance of integration solutions.

Performance Optimization :

- Identify performance bottlenecks in integration processes and implement optimizations to improve throughput and reduce latency.

- Conduct load and stress testing of integration solutions and provide recommendations for scaling up or scaling out as needed.

- Monitor and fine-tune data transformation logic for scalability and high availability.

Collaboration & Stakeholder Management :

- Work closely with business analysts, project managers, and solution architects to understand requirements and provide integration solutions that align with business needs.

- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure smooth delivery of projects within scope, time, and budget.

- Participate in requirements gathering, technical design, and deployment discussions to ensure alignment with overall architecture and integration standards.

Documentation & Reporting :

- Produce detailed technical documentation for the integration solutions, including mapping specifications, deployment guides, and troubleshooting manuals.

- Prepare status reports on the progress of integration projects and highlight any issues or risks.

- Document all configuration settings, technical designs, and changes made during the development process for future reference.

Continuous Improvement & Innovation :

- Stay up to date with the latest trends in integration technologies and IBM ITX to recommend new tools, technologies, and techniques to improve integration processes.

- Identify and suggest process improvements that enhance the speed, efficiency, and effectiveness of integration solutions.

- Contribute to the development of best practices for integration design, development, testing, and maintenance.

Key Skills & Competencies :

Technical Skills :

- IBM Transformation Extender (ITX) : Proficiency in designing, developing, and deploying solutions using IBM ITX. Experience with data transformation, mapping, and using ITX's powerful scripting and transformation capabilities.

- IBM Integration Bus (IIB) : Experience with IBM IIB (or App Connect) for integration flows, message routing, and application connectivity.

- ETL Tools & Data Integration : Experience with ETL tools, data transformation, and integration techniques for heterogeneous systems.

- Programming : Proficiency in Java, JavaScript, or other scripting languages commonly used in integration tasks.

- Message Formats & Protocols : Expertise in handling various data formats such as XML, JSON, EDI, CSV, and proprietary formats.

- Cloud Integration : Knowledge of cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud) and how they integrate with on-premise systems.

- Middleware & Messaging : Experience with messaging middleware like MQ, Kafka, or JMS.

- Database Integration : Experience integrating relational databases (Oracle, SQL Server, MySQL) with integration tools and applications.

Qualifications :

- Educational Qualification : Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology, or related field.

- Experience : 4-8 years of experience in integration development, with hands-on experience in IBM Transformation Extender (ITX), IBM Integration Bus (IIB), or related integration technologies.

- Certifications : Certifications related to IBM Integration Technologies, ITX, or cloud-based integration platforms are a plus.
