Hiring for Order to Cash - AM


Office Location - Goregaon (Nesco)


Role & responsibilities

The activities within the remit of the O2C team include:

Billing team:

Order capture

Record customer sales order

Billing and Invoicing

Raise ad-hoc bill

Set-up and management of invoice portals

Validate customer billing data: Contracted on as and when basis

O2C Manage Requests and Enquiries

Customer query management

Resolve customer query

Manage internal queries

Audits

Support internal and external audits

O2C Projects

On-site revenue & sales reconciliation team:

On-site cash collection

Cash / revenue reconciliation at cash level

Manage relationships with sites managers

Closing and reporting

Month end reporting

O2C Projects

Month End Close and Reconciliations

Perform Account Reconciliations

Perform General Accounting

Conduct open items review

Audits

Support internal and external audits

Cash allocation:

Receive & Apply Payments and Unallocated Cash Management

Process payments and remittances

Unallocated cash management

Credit card payments

Refunds to customers

Audits

Support internal and external audits

O2C Projects

Credit Management

Monitor and update credit information

Collections, Litigations and Bad Debt Management

Monitor debt and overdue invoices and escalate to credit control /relevant stakeholders.

Customer query management

Resolve customer query

Audits

As the Domain Manager, you will have responsibility for all of the above activities and their respective teams and will:

  • Build, manage and motivate the team, instilling a strong sense of purpose and teamwork
  • Support the development of the O2C team
  • Create high performance teams that meet or exceed established performance metrics
  • Establish metrics and mechanisms for measuring process effectiveness and communicating results with stakeholders
  • Own process documentation and documentation updates
  • Collect input from stakeholders regarding process performance and improvement opportunities
  • Drive change through tactical performance metric tracking (e.g. KPIs); identify trends and opportunities for improvement.
  • Coordinate/participate in strategic projects to review and improve processes
  • Serve as liaison with functional leadership for the resolution of escalated process issues
  • Drive innovation through the identification and championing of process improvement opportunities
  • Own communication and change management related to process improvements, implementing processes and communication plans that maximize employee buy-in
  • Collaborate with other process domain managers to share best practices
  • Participate in relevant governance committees related to process ownership/improvement
  • Champion a process measurement and improvement mindset
  • Stay up to date on industry and process best practices and drive their adoption
  • Drive process and policy standardisation; collaborate with process teams across locations to ensure adherence of the minimum requirements for the execution of standard processes
  • Stay informed of legislative changes and identify their potential impacts on operations

4. Accountabilities Give the 3 to 5 key outputs of the position vis-à-vis the organization; they should focus on end results, not duties or activities.

Accountabilities will vary by area of responsibility, accountabilities may include:

  • Own the end-to-end process within the SSC
  • Manage and direct activities of team members, setting and monitoring performance against objectives
  • Manage relationships across the process including those outside of the shared service centre
  • Deliver process operations in line with or exceeding SLAs
  • Maintain strong audit compliance & controls


Preferred candidate profile

  • Strong command of verbal and written English
  • 10 15 years of experience in Shared Services with 5+ years experience managing teams.
  • Deep end-to-end finance expertise in this process area
  • Experience in setting strategy and direction
  • Experience with process mapping, improvement and re-engineering
  • Experience measuring and reporting on metrics
  • Excellent stakeholder management skills
  • Strong communication and leadership experience with the ability to collaborate with internal regional shared services teams and external customer stakeholders to drive standard practices
  • Continuous improvement mindset
  • Ability to lead in a dynamic and changing environment
  • A focus on quality and alignment to Sodexos values
