Social Media Specialist

We seek a dynamic and creative Social Media Specialist to join our team. The candidate will be responsible for developing, implementing, and managing social media strategies that align with our business goals. This role requires expertise in content creation, audience engagement, analytics, and staying up-to-date with emerging social media trends and tools.

Key Responsibilities:

Strategic Planning:

• Develop and implement comprehensive social media strategies to increase brand awareness, engagement, and lead generation.
• Collaborate with marketing, design, and content teams to align social media efforts with overall business objectives.

Content Creation and Management:

• Create, curate, and publish high-quality, engaging, and visually appealing content across platforms (Facebook, Instagram, X, LinkedIn, Pinterest, YouTube, etc.).
• Develop content calendars and manage post-scheduling using tools like Hootsuite or Buffer.
• Write compelling captions, blogs, and posts tailored to different platforms and audiences.

Community Engagement:

• Monitor, respond, and interact with followers to build a positive brand community.
• Handle customer queries, feedback, and complaints on social platforms promptly and professionally.

Performance Tracking and Analytics:

• Use tools like Google Analytics, Facebook Insights, Instagram Insights, YouTube Insights, and X Analytics to measure campaign performance.
• Generate weekly & monthly reports to track KPIs such as engagement, reach, click-through rates, and conversions.
• Use insights to refine strategies and improve performance.

Advertising Campaigns:

• Plan, execute, and optimize paid social media campaigns using Facebook Ads Manager, LinkedIn Ads, or Google Ads.
• Conduct A/B testing to determine the effectiveness of ads and content.

Trend Analysis and Innovation:

• Stay updated on emerging social media trends, tools, and technologies.
• Experiment with new formats (e.g., Stories, Reels, Live sessions) to keep the content fresh and engaging.

Collaboration:

• Work closely with graphic designers and videographers to produce creative assets.
• Coordinate with influencers or partners for collaborations and promotional campaigns.

Compliance and Best Practices:

• Ensure all content adheres to brand guidelines and complies with platform-specific best practices.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

• Bachelors degree in Marketing, Communications, or a related field.
• Proven work experience as a Social Media Specialist.
• Proficiency in social media tools such as Canva, Adobe Creative Suite, Hootsuite, Buffer, and Sprout Social.
• Strong copywriting, editing, and storytelling skills.
• Experience in running and optimizing paid social media campaigns.
• Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret data and draw actionable insights.
• Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities.
• Familiarity with SEO, keyword research, and web traffic metrics is a plus.
