Safety Inspector (MEP- Manufacturing)

Role & responsibilities

• Conduct regular safety audits and inspections of equipment, work areas, and procedures in the cut and bend factory to ensure compliance with safety regulations.
• Identify potential hazards in the workplace, such as machinery malfunctions, hazardous materials, or unsafe work practices, and recommend corrective actions.
• Provide safety training and guidance to employees, ensuring they are aware of safety protocols, emergency procedures, and proper handling of materials.
• Monitor the use of safety equipment (PPE) and ensure employees adhere to safety standards to prevent accidents and injuries.
• Maintain safety records, incident reports, and documentation for audits, and ensure adherence to local safety laws and regulations.

Education Qualification

• Bachelors degree in Occupational Health and Safety, Environmental Science, or a related field. Certification in Safety Management (e.g., NEBOSH, OSHA certification) is highly preferred.
