Finance Manager

Location: Noida Sector 63
Department: Finance/Accounting
Reports To: Financial Controller/Head of Finance

Key Responsibilities:

1. Financial Reporting:
   
• Prepare accurate and timely financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements.
• Conduct monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reporting, including variance analysis and actionable insights for management.
2. Cost Accounting:
   
• Analyze and monitor manufacturing costs, including raw materials, labor, and overhead.
• Calculate cost of goods manufactured (COGM) and cost of goods sold (COGS) to support pricing strategies.
• Conduct cost variance analysis, comparing budgeted costs to actual costs, and report on significant discrepancies.
• Implement and manage standard costing systems for accurate cost tracking.
3. Budgeting & Forecasting:
   
• Assist in the preparation of annual budgets and forecasts, providing input on cost and financial projections.
• Monitor budget utilization and provide insights for strategic financial planning.
4. MIS Reporting:
   
• Prepare detailed MIS reports, including profit margin analysis, production efficiency, and overhead absorption.
• Use tools like Power BI and Excel to create dashboards for financial and operational insights.
5. Cash Flow Management:
   
• Oversee cash flow to ensure optimum working capital management.
• Develop and implement strategies to improve debtor collections and streamline payment cycles.
6. Compliance & Audit:
   
• Ensure timely and accurate filing of GST, TDS, and other statutory taxes.
• Collaborate with internal and external auditors to facilitate smooth audits and resolve discrepancies.
7. ERP and Process Management:
   
• Leverage ERP systems (ERPNext preferred) for cost tracking, financial reporting, and process automation.
• Automate routine accounting tasks to improve efficiency and accuracy.
8. Strategic Financial Input:
   
• Provide financial advice to support decision-making on pricing, cost control, and investment planning.
• Collaborate with operations, procurement, and sales teams to identify cost-saving opportunities.
9. Team Leadership:
   
• Mentor and manage the accounting team to achieve department goals.
• Establish and enforce accounting and cost management SOPs.

Qualifications:

• Education:
  
• Bachelors degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (required).
• MBA in Finance or equivalent qualification (required).
• Professional certifications like CA, CMA, or CPA (preferred).
• Experience:
  
• 7+ years of progressive experience in accounting or finance, including 3+ years in a senior or managerial role.
• Hands-on experience in cost accounting, financial reporting, and MIS preparation.
• Skills:
  
• Advanced knowledge of cost accounting, variance analysis, and budgeting.
• Proficiency in Power BI, Tableau, or Excel for creating dashboards and reports.
• Expertise in ERP systems (ERPNext preferred) for accounting and cost tracking.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
• Leadership ability to manage and mentor teams effectively.
