Governance and Risk Engineer
Responsibilities
• Creating and maintaining a system for measuring and tracking risks associated with the cloud
infrastructure.
• Development and implementation of cloud security policies and procedures to ensure data integrity,
security, and privacy.
• Create comprehensive cloud security policies that align with the regulatory requirements. (Includes -
implementing security controls, standards, and procedures)
• Conduct regular audits and risk assessments to identify vulnerabilities and ensure compliance with
industry standards and regulations.
• Regularly monitor all infrastructure and cloud services to ensure they are compliant with
organizational and regulatory standards.
• Generate reports detailing the organization's compliance with standards and will work towards
improving these levels.
• Collaborate with IT and business teams to ensure cloud security standards are integrated into all cloud
services and solutions.
Qualifications
• 4+ years of experience with Cloud or Infrastructure Engineering
• Implement and maintain Azure security policies and best practices.
• Experience with cloud security best practices and compliance frameworks (e.g., CIS benchmarks,
NIST, Cyber security)
• Experience working with Cloud Security scanning tools.

• Familiarity with industry standards and regulations such as ISO 27001, GDPR, etc.
• Manage Infrastructure Cyber Incident Recovery and maintain documentation.
