Assistant Manager-Technical

Role & responsibilities

• Responsible for a Branch for complete technical function.
• To guide technically the team to have smooth functions of all machineries and equipments.
• To adhere the preventive Maintenance as per schedule.
• To organize the trainings and to study the improvements in learnings.
• To initiate proactive steps to avoid breakdowns and to analyze the root cause for breakdowns and to initiate corrective action
• To make efforts to complete pending breakdown jobs as per SLA and to update in portal. To coordinate for materials, vendors, POs etc. To review the open issues and to update in Portal.
• To ensure technical daily check list is done and to be reviewed for further actions
• To review daily power units consumption and cost and to take appropriate actions to reduce cost.
• To Look for new vendors and to have strong negotiation to reduce Rand M cost
• To ensure escalation and to take immediate actions on temperature deviations.
• To get report on routine Leak test and to initiate necessary corrections.
• To ensure the critical issues like compressor repairs, gas charging and Reach Truck complaints are addressed timely without affecting operation and temperature.
• To ensure safety guidelines are followed by the team and to train the team regularly
• To verify all the records for ISO and other Audits. To ensure various audits are getting passed without any deviation.
• To have overall Branch supervision and to guide the team to ensure all functional activities are done without any deviation.

Preferred candidate profile

• Must have experience in maintenance and repair of Material Handling Equipment (Forklift, Reach Truck, Hand Pallet Trucks) in warehouse.
• Must have Diploma/B.Tech in Mechanical or Electrical.
