Principal Architect - MERN Stack (15-20 yrs)

The role :

As a Principal Architect based in Bangalore, you will play a pivotal role in designing and building scalable, high-performance backend systems. You'll lead the technical design and collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver cloud-native B2B SaaS applications, driving innovation and optimizing system architecture. If you have experience scaling systems in growth scenarios (1- 10 or 10- 100), you'll be an excellent fit for our team.

You will be responsible for :

- Designing and building scalable, high-performance backend systems

- Architecting backend using Node.js, Express.js, MongoDB

- Developing RESTful APIs and GraphQL services

- Implementing microservices and cloud infrastructure (AWS, Docker, Kubernetes)

- Ensuring security, reliability, and scalability

- Mentoring junior developers and upholding coding standards

- Integrating with third-party SaaS applications

Ideal Candidate :

- You have a degree in Computer Engineering from a top tier institute (IITs/NITs) as well as have at least 15 years in software development, with 5+ years in architecture

- You are an expert in Node.js, Express.js, MongoDB, and microservices

- You have strong AWS knowledge (EC2, S3, SQS, SNS, OpenSearch)

- You have experience with Docker, Kubernetes, and both relational & NoSQL databases

Bonus :

- You are familiar with Ruby on Rails or Golang

- You bring strong problem-solving, leadership, and collaboration skills

- You have experience in Agile and CI/CD

- You are a team player and effectively collaborate with global stakeholders
