Design Engineer

Role & responsibilities

1. Deft in  analytical calculations, designing, planning and oversee the construction of new buildings and allied steel construction, namely design pre-engineered building systems including framing, connections, and bracing to meet project requirements and applicable codes and standards.

2. Leading a team of  Four to Five budding design engineers ,mentoring them and aligning their output with organizational goals.

3. Designing and quote estimates at enquiry level and churning out the most optimal estimate by doing value engineering ensuring manufacturing, erection and inventory friendly solution.

4. Checking of Design sketches, MPS, Job cards & GADs for Jobs.

5. Interaction with sales over queries of team members during Jobs and Enquiries.

6. Attending internal discussion with the detailing team while making GADs for resolving queries.

7. Following up with the sales for resolving queries.

8. Attending meetings with Client/ Consultants for discussions during the enquiry stage as well as job stage.

9. Job tracking and tonnage tracking throughout the project..

10. Obtaining GAD approvals shall be foremost important.

11. Should be a team player.
