Lead Software Engineer - ETL/SQL (5-6 yrs)

Job Description :

Key Responsibilities :

- Lead the end-to-end development lifecycle of data warehouse solutions, from requirements gathering and design to deployment and maintenance.

- Design and optimize data models, ETL processes, and data integration strategies to ensure the reliability, scalability, and performance of the data warehouse.

- Develop and maintain ETL scripts and workflows using industry-leading tools and technologies.

- Collaborate with business stakeholders to understand data requirements and translate them into technical solutions.

- Implement data quality and governance processes to ensure the accuracy and consistency of data stored in the warehouse.

- Monitor and optimize data warehouse performance, identify bottlenecks, and implement solutions for improvement.

-Provide technical leadership and mentorship to junior members of the data warehouse team.

- Stay abreast of industry trends and best practices in data warehouse architecture, data management, and analytics.

Qualifications :

- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field.

- Minimum of 5 years of hands-on experience in data warehousing, with a strong focus on design, development, and implementation.

- Proficiency in SQL and experience with database technologies such as Oracle, SQL Server, or PostgreSQL.

- Extensive experience with ETL tools such as Informatica, Talend, or SSIS.

- Solid understanding of data modeling concepts (dimensional modeling, star schema, snowflake schema, etc.

- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to translate complex business requirements into technical solutions.

- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.

- Experience with cloud-based data warehouse platforms (e., AWS Redshift, Google BigQuery, Snowflake) is a plus.

- Relevant certifications (e., Certified Data Management Professional, AWS Certified Solutions Architect) are highly desirable
