Job overview

The Compliance Officer's primary responsibility will be to have oversight of the NBFC's compliance
and regulatory vertical ,to ensure that the organization (and its employees) are following the rules
and regulations of regulatory agencies, company policies and procedures and firm-wide standards
of conduct.

Key responsibilities

- Recognize, develop, maintain, and administer all aspects of the NBFC's compliance program
adequate to ensure adherence to applicable RBI laws and regulations for NFBCs - SI/ Mid-layer
India, as well as implement cost effective compliance related solutions for the organization's
compliance
- Overseeing drafting, and vetting of contracts / agreements / legal documents, and ensuring
proper administration of executed contracts across business lines.
- Responsible for effective and efficient legal support for business restructuring, contracts,
documentation management, providing legal advisory services and ensuring effective management
of legal and contractual services.
- Product compliance, with experience of dealing with RBI
- Handling end to end inspections by RBI.

Qualifications and skills

A degree in Law, Business Administration or related field.
Proven experience of 10 to 15 years in compliance with a NBFC set up.
Strong knowledge of industry processes and regulations.
Outstanding communication and interpersonal abilities.
