Job Description

Job Description:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Python Tech Lead to join our dynamic team as we scale our operations. This role offers extensive ownership and influence over development processes, ensuring best practices, team collaboration, and innovation across all projects. Responsibilities:

Lead the design and implementation of new software modules based on product requirements
Provide technical direction and mentorship to the development team, fostering a culture of learning and growth
Debug existing software components, resolve issues, and ensure robust regression prevention
Advocate and implement Test-Driven Development (TDD) practices across the team for enhanced software reliability
Drive architectural discussions, design reviews, and code reviews to maintain high-quality standards.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align development goals with business objectives and project timelines
Ensure seamless integration of advanced middleware tools like RabbitMQ and Celery Beat into development workflows
Continuously evaluate and improve development processes and tools to maximize team productivity and software performance

Technical Expectations:

Expertise in designing and developing HTTP-based REST APIs with advanced features like authentication and caching
Extensive experience with relational and NoSQL databases, including ORM, schema design, and migrations.
Proficiency in Python and frameworks such as FastAPI, Flask, or Django, with a focus on scalable and maintainable solutions
Familiarity with AI-based applications and a strong understanding of machine learning workflows is a plus
Advanced knowledge of databases, particularly PostgreSQL and MongoDB, with performance optimization skills
Solid experience in Unix/Linux-based environments, including Shell scripting for automation
Hands-on experience with middleware technologies like RabbitMQ and Celery Beat for asynchronous task management
Strong understanding of version control systems (Git) and best practices for collaborative development

Experience:

Minimum 7+ years of experience in Python development, including technical leadership and mentoring skills
Proven track record of leading teams and delivering high-impact, scalable projects on time

Qualifications:

Bachelor s or Master s degree in Software Engineering, Computer Science, or related fields.
Preferred degrees: BE/B.Tech/MCA/MSc/BSc.

Mandatory Skills:

Python (Django, Flask, or FastAPI)
JavaScript
Git
MySQL/PostgreSQL
Shell scripting

Good-to-Have Skills:

Test-Driven Development (TDD)
MongoDB (Mongoose)
Experience with AI/ML workflows
DevOps practices and CI/CD pipeline implementation
