Quality Analyst Lead

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced QA & Application Testing Lead to oversee the quality assurance and application testing activities within our organization. The ideal candidate will be responsible for leading a team of QA engineers, defining testing strategies, ensuring high-quality software releases, and improving our testing processes.

• Leadership and Team Management
  • Lead, mentor, and manage a team of QA engineers.
  • Provide technical guidance and support to the QA team.
  • Conduct regular performance reviews and create development plans for team members.
• Test Strategy and Planning
  • Develop and implement comprehensive test strategies and plans for projects.
  • Define testing scope, objectives, and deliverables.
  • Collaborate with project managers, developers, and stakeholders to ensure alignment on requirements and expectations.
• Test Execution and Management
  • Oversee the execution of test plans and test cases.
  • Ensure all testing activities are carried out efficiently and effectively.
  • Monitor test progress and report on test coverage, defects, and risks.
• Quality Assurance
  • Implement and enforce QA best practices, processes, and standards.
  • Ensure compliance with established quality standards and guidelines.
  • Conduct root cause analysis of defects and work with development teams to resolve issues.
• Automation and Tools
  • Identify opportunities for test automation and implement automated testing solutions.
  • Evaluate and select appropriate testing tools and technologies.
  • Maintain and enhance existing automated test suites.
• Collaboration and Communication
  • Facilitate communication between QA, development, and other cross-functional teams.
  • Provide regular updates on QA activities, test progress, and quality metrics to stakeholders.
  • Participate in project meetings, design reviews, and code reviews.

• Minimum of 5-7 years of experience in software quality assurance and testing.
• Strong background in both manual and automated testing.

• Proficiency in test automation tools (e.g., Selenium, QTP, JUnit).
• Strong understanding of software development lifecycle (SDLC) and Agile methodologies.
• Experience with continuous integration and continuous delivery (CI/CD) pipelines.

• Familiarity with testing tools such as JIRA, TestRail, or similar.
• Knowledge of version control systems (e.g., Git).

• B.Tech CSE/B.SC IT/BCA/MCA/M.Sc IT or in any related field.
• Advanced degree or certifications in QA or testing is a plus.
