Automation Test Engineer - Appium/Selenium (4-7 yrs)

Responsibilities :

- Design, develop, and maintain robust and scalable automation test frameworks using Java, Selenium, BDD Cucumber, and TestNG.

- Implement Page Object Model (POM) design patterns for maintainable and reusable test scripts.

- Develop and execute automated test scripts for web applications using Selenium WebDriver.

- Ensure comprehensive test coverage for UI functionalities.

- Perform cross-browser testing and ensure compatibility.

- Develop and execute automated test scripts for REST APIs using Rest Assured and Postman.

- Validate API responses, data integrity, and performance.

- Develop and execute automated test scripts for mobile applications using Appium.

- Perform testing on both Android and iOS platforms.

- Implement Behavior-Driven Development (BDD) using Cucumber to define and execute test scenarios.

- Collaborate with business analysts and developers to define feature files and step definitions.

- Develop test plans, test cases, and test data for automated testing.

- Execute automated test suites and analyze test results.

- Identify and report defects using JIRA.

- Integrate automated test suites into CI/CD pipelines using GitHub.

- Ensure seamless execution of automated tests during the build and deployment process.

- Collaborate with development and QA teams to ensure clear communication and effective issue resolution.

- Document test plans, test cases, and test results using Confluence.

- Maintain and update test documentation as needed.

- Integrate Zephyr with JIRA for test management (added advantage).

- Utilize Postman for API testing and validation.

- Basic understanding and experience with C# and Page Object Model (POM) is a plus.

- Strong experience in API automation testing using Rest Assured and Postman.

- Experience in mobile automation using Appium.

- Experience in integrating automated tests into CI/CD pipelines.

- Experience with JIRA and Confluence.

- Strong understanding of software testing methodologies and best practices.

Preferred Skills :

- Experience with C# and Page Object Model (POM).

- Experience with Zephyr for test management.

- Experience with cloud-based testing platforms.

- Knowledge of performance testing tools.
