Purpose of the Role: To drive efficiencies in indirect procurement, drive commercial compliance across designated processes and ensure spend effectiveness.
Qualification & Experience Graduate/Post graduate degree, preferred in management 3 -7 years experience with a strong record of procurement of non-media spend / indirect procurement Detailed knowledge and understanding of Marketing categories Ability to handle standalone project with minimum supervision Experience operating as an internal business consultant Fluent in verbal and written English
Key Deliverables of the Role The individual will be involved in extensive procurement of services in Marketing (excluding media buying) and Information Technology for India businesses. Evaluate project costs in the marketing domains of creative services, merchandising, marketing technology, events, consumer research, PR and other marketing activities Work with the business partners to carve out most effective deal structures/vendor selections/rate cards and other terms to ensure sustainable and smooth project execution Prepare and execute clear, structured negotiations with vendors on cost and other commercial terms following Strategic Sourcing process Collaborate with Operations team, Legal team, Finance and tax team to ensure timely execution of agreements Be aware of market trends and conditions in the respective domain and understand how these affect vendors, cost of services, pricing, and the resulting impact to business Provide rigorous cost and market analysis following models established by Sourcing focusing on total cost Analyse spend data to arrive at actionable insights and drive category level sourcing strategies Participate in professional development activities to keep abreast of current industry best practices and continu- ously improve professional skills and technical expertise Interact with and influence stakeholders at all levels of the business Ensure compliance, cost savings and performance measures are established, tracked and achieved Build/establish strategic relationships with key suppliers Work with finance and business teams to have an annual and long-term plans and strategy for the requisite Mar- keting sub-category in India
