Quality Assurance Head/Quality Control Head

Role & responsibilities

Job Responsibilities:

Understand customer expectations and requirements for products.

Develop and implement quality control processes.

Ensure products are designed and produced in compliance with legal and safety standards.

Supervise staff and monitor production standards.

Inspect the quality of raw materials used in production.

Monitor and evaluate internal production processes.

Assess the quality of final products.

Engage with customers to gather product feedback.

Prepare statistical reports on quality standards.

Report quality standard issues to top management.

Work on improving production efficiency and waste management.

Train and develop team members.

Maintain knowledge and documentation for certifications such as ISO, FSSC-22000, HALAL, KOSHER, FSSAI, and RFA.

Desired Candidate Profile:

Education: Graduate/Post-Graduate in Food Technology.

PG Diploma in Coffee Quality Management (desirable) from Coffee Board Of India.

Experience: Minimum of 5+ years in Quality Control within the beverage or confectionery manufacturing industry.

Skills & Expertise:

Comprehensive knowledge of FSSAI & LM legal compliance.

Experience conducting FSSC internal audits.

Proficiency in sensory evaluation of end products.

Advanced interpersonal and communication skills.
