SkySpecs is seeking a senior business analyst who will gain a deep understanding of SkySpecs s products and work with various stakeholders throughout the organization to coordinate multiple product activities.
You will be tasked with helping SkySpecs take one of our products to the next level to continue double-digit growth. The senior business analyst role is a high-visibility role within the organization, and you will have the opportunity to work directly with customers to understand their needs, work with SkySpecs leadership on product strategy, work with Sales and Marketing to build go-to-market materials, and work with the technology teams to develop amazing software.
As a Senior Business Analyst, you will:
Build new products and features by combining existing ideas with new ideas from your experience and interactions with customers, users, and prospects. You will need to have a deep technical understanding of the SkySpecs products, as well as a big-picture understanding of the challenges that face our customers and the technologies needed to solve those challenges. You will:
Talk to users and customers to better understand their jobs, challenges, and desired outcomes
Work with user experience designers and engineering, to define, design and drive implementation and adoption of new features
Enable customer support and work with customers to find resolution on their issues
Develop relationships with key customers and broaden adoption of our products
Requirements of the job:
7+ years of work experience in business analysis or software engineering roles
Demonstrated experience in analyzing, documenting, and prioritizing requirements
Ability to engage with a variety of stakeholders to drive implementation
Has a strong understanding of computer systems; in addition, has proficiency in software development methodologies and database
Strong written, presentation, and communication skills to both internal and external stakeholders
Renewable or wind energy asset management experience is preferable
