Position Name: Finance Head

Location: Gurgaon

Experience Range: 5 - 8 yrs

Job Responsibilities:

- Financial Management: Oversee all financial operations including budgeting, forecasting, cash flow management, and financial reporting.

- Fundraising: Work with the founders on fundraising efforts including preparing financial projections, managing runway, creating investor reports, and managing investor relations.

- Accounting: Ensure accurate and timely financial reporting in compliance with accounting standards. Oversee the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.

- Cost Management: Analyze and manage costs to ensure capital efficiency. Identify areas for cost reduction and process improvement.

- Risk Management: Identify and manage financial risks. Ensure adequate controls are in place to safeguard company assets.

- Compliance: Ensure compliance with all financial regulations and standards. Liaise with auditors, tax advisors, and other external parties as necessary.

- Cross-functional Collaboration: Work closely with other departments to support business operations and drive financial performance.

Qualification and Experience:

- Chartered Accountant with a bachelor's degree in business or commerce

- 5+ years of experience in finance, including experience at an early to mid-stage startup (D2C brand experience preferred)

- Strong financial modeling and analytical skills

- Excellent understanding of corporate finance, accounting principles and financial controls
