Sr. Engineer/ Assistant Manager For Foam Development

Requirements related to foam development

1.1 Understanding customers requirements related to foam development
1.2 Support for systematic development of foam tooling and line tracking ( plan vs actual ) with respective supplier.
1.3 Feasibility check wrt the customer requirement for foam
1.4 Design concept review wrt our previous experience and learnings related to foam
1.5 Systematic development tracking for foam commodity
1.6 Build result and feedback (improvement if required)
1.7 PTR and PPAP of foam commodity @ supplier end
1.8 Ensure supplies and documentation from supplier

Testing and Validation of Product

2.1 Understanding and signoff of test requirement with the customer related to foam
2.2 Conduct tests and getting results wrt the given specs of drawing @ from Supplier for foam
2.3 First Time Right Quality
2.4 FTG RFQ from Supplier
2.5 Support to supplier FTG design review ,Sign off and FTG kick off and time plan
2.6 Seat built as per design and quality requirements

Trouble Free Smooth Launch
3.1 Issues resolution as per customer or in-house review input
3.2 Material planning and scheduling during development

Cost Saving & Cost Effectiveness

4.1 Implementation of VAVE ideas at foam process and tool @ various level of project to minimise the cost
4.2 Use of maximum carryover parts to minimize the development time and cost.
