Civil Draughtsman

We're currently seeking a skilled and experienced AutoCAD Drafter to join our formwork team. As a key member of the engineering team, you will be responsible for creating detailed formwork scheme drawings using AutoCAD software, collaborating with design teams, and contributing to the overall success of engineering projects. Your role will involve understanding client requirements and translating design concepts into accurate and practical drawings for construction projects. Objectives & Tasks

1. Generate Detailed Drawings: Create 2D and 3D models and drawings using AutoCAD software for formwork projects.
   
2. Team Coordination: Collaborate with other drafters and team members to ensure consistency in drawing formats and standards.
   
3. Design Collaboration: Work closely with engineers and managers to fully understand design specifications and requirements.
   
4. Compliance & Standards: Ensure all drawings adhere to industry standards, regulations, and project guidelines.
   
5. Timely Deliverables: Meet project deadlines and timelines for drawing submissions.
   
6. Drawing Revisions: Revise and update drawings based on feedback from the site team and project modifications.
   

Required Skills and Qualifications

1. Educational Background: ITI or Diploma in Civil Engineering.
   
2. Certification: Certification in AutoCAD drafting.
   
3. Experience: Minimum of 1+ year of experience as an AutoCAD drafter.
   
4. Technical Proficiency: Proficient in AutoCAD software for both 2D and 3D modelling.
   
5. Drafting Knowledge: Strong understanding of drafting principles, commands, and keyboard shortcuts.
