Role Summary: We are looking for an experienced and detail-oriented Senior Quality Assurance Engineer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in software testing, quality assurance methodologies, and a proven track record of improving product quality through strategic QA processes. This role involves collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure our products meet the highest standards of reliability, functionality, and user experience.

Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement comprehensive QA testing strategies and plans to ensure software quality.
• Design, develop, and execute automated tests to validate applications against functional and technical specifications.
• Identify, document, and track software defects and inconsistencies.
• Collaborate with software developers and product managers to understand product requirements and develop effective test plans.
• Conduct thorough regression testing when bugs are resolved.
• Participate in software design and code reviews to provide input on functional requirements, product designs, usability, and potential problems.
• Monitor and evaluate testing results against predefined criteria, reporting to management on quality issues and trends.
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives in the QA process, tools, and methodologies to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.
• Mentor junior QA engineers, providing guidance and support in their professional development.
• Stay up-to-date with new testing tools and test strategies.

Requirements:

• Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
• A minimum of 5 years of experience in software quality assurance, with a focus on automated testing environments.
• Proficiency in QA methodologies, tools (e.g., Selenium, JIRA, TestRail), and processes.
• Strong knowledge of software QA metrics, processes, and tools.
• Excellent problem-solving, communication, and analytical skills.
• Experience with continuous integration and deployment practices.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, agile development environment.
• Familiarity with programming languages such as Python, Java, or C# is a plus.
