Site Reliability Engineer

Job Description:

We are seeking a talented SRE1 Engineer with specialized knowledge in Unified Payments Interface (UPI) to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring the reliability, performance, and scalability of our UPI systems

.
Key Responsibilities

• System Reliability: Ensure the reliability and availability of UPI systems through proactive monitoring and incident management.
• Automation: Develop and implement automation tools to streamline operations and reduce manual intervention.
• Incident Management: Respond to and resolve incidents promptly, conducting root cause analysis and implementing preventive measures.
• Performance Optimization: Monitor system performance and implement optimizations to enhance efficiency and scalability.
• Collaboration: Work closely with development, operations, and security teams to ensure seamless integration and deployment of UPI solutions.
• Documentation: Maintain comprehensive documentation of systems, processes, and incident resolutions.
• Continuous Improvement: Identify and implement improvements to enhance system reliability and performance.

Qualifications:

• Education: Bachelors degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• Experience: Minimum of 0-2 years of experience in site reliability engineering or a related field, with specific experience in UPI systems.

Technical Skills:

• Proficiency in UPI systems and protocols.
• knowledge of Linux, databases, Nginx.
• Familiarity with monitoring tools (e.g., Prometheus, Grafana).

Soft Skills:

• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.

Preferred Skills:

• Experience with financial transaction systems.
• Knowledge of regulatory compliance related to UPI.
• Experience with scripting languages (e.g., Python, Perl) for automation.
• Knowledge of cloud platforms and services.
